Today was a pleasant and quiet day. I woke up naturally in the morning and stayed in bed for a while, because it was't even 8 o'clock yet. After breakfast, Luc and Michael drove to the vineyards down in the village, but I stayed home. I sat in the sun on the terrace and wrote down the eventful past day in a blog.
I sat in the sun for a few hours and enjoyed doing nothing for a while. For lunch we had leftovers (some of my favorites that I still remembered from last year) and then ice cream, because it was really warm. I looked through my journal entries from last year and could confirm what I'd already thought: The weather is much nicernthis year. Warmer, sunnier, less rain.
After lunch, Michael and I talked about photography and I took some pictures of him as he checked the sugar content of two of the white wines, so he has pictures of himself that he can show to friends. I took the opportunity to try out my different lenses and play with the settings on the camera. So the both of us profited in some way.

It's a challenge to capture the little light there is in the wine cellar.

The rest of the afternoon I kept to myself for a bit. Clémence and Mélina had both been away over the weekend; Clémence was at a wedding and Mélina was with her Nounou. Both returned in the evening. Of course, Mélina didn't recognize me and took quite a long time to even look at me without being shy about it. At the end of the evening, she even said my name and could at least look at me briefly. Incredibly cute that one.
In the evening, I went around the house and took a few pictures, although I had certainly photographed all of the landscape at least five times last year. But I just like it so much that I can't help it.

My most favorite view!
