For the first time since I got here, I slept in. I only got up at 9.30am and had an unhurried breakfast. Afterwards I read and just did nothing for a change. Thus, there isn’t much to tell, what doesn’t mean it wasn’t a great day.
It wasn’t until the afternoon that I got a bit more “active”. Clémence had been to the garden and told me that it looked wonderful there and that I would probably be able to take some great pictures there. So I grabbed my camera and went to the garden with Michael.
The view was breathtaking. The weather was amazing and the visibility was crystal clear. After we’d both taken some photos – and Michael some video footage as well – we got comfortable on the grass and just enjoyed the sun for a while. We were both of the same opinion; this is our “happy place”. The landscape, the experiences and the people here simply make the both of us happy.
After dinner, Michael and I sat down on the terrace and talked for a bit. It was quite cold, but because of my cold and Michael’s cat allergy we wanted to get some fresh air. Snuggled up in blankets and wearing hats, it was relatively comfortable, though.
