I was able to sleep in today because we did not start work until 10am.
One of the white wines needed more oxygen, so my first task was to help the wine breathe. For 45 minutes, I filled buckets with wine and poured it back into the tank. What a workout!
After I was done, I sat in the sun and read, while Luc and Michael pumped one of the wines from a tank into a barrel. When they were done, Michael and I went to the garden to water the plants. Jabba accompanied us and we had to play fetch with him all the way there. Michael and I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the garden and the landscape before returning to the house for lunch.

Luc's vineyards and the town Argis

In the afternoon, the three of us prepared some wine for shipping. We cleaned, labeled, sealed with wax, applied a sticker and packed the wine bottles into boxes. But with music and the right company, even the most repetetive task is fun.
I spent the early evening reading again. Mélina warms up to me ever so slowly. She laughs at me but is still very shy. If it goes on like this, we'll be really good friends by the time I'm leaving!
